I’ve been working with photographs and visual storytelling for most of my life. Since the early 1990s, I’ve edited images and worked in graphic design alongside talented photographers, editors, and mentors who have shaped my perspective on images—not just as files, but as stories that matter.
Long before the advent of easy-to-create photo management solutions, I was crafting memory projects by hand—gathering family photos from different years, digitally compositing them, and transforming them into recorded slideshows set to music. The tools were imperfect, but my intention was clear: to preserve moments, mark time, and create meaningful pieces that could be revisited.
That passion for visual storytelling has stayed with me.
My work blends modern photo management tools with human care and storytelling. I assist people in deciding what matters, what belongs together, and how to turn scattered images into something lasting—whether that’s a photo book, a family archive, or a legacy project.
This work is informed by my experience in reminiscence and memory care. Through training and time spent with individuals living with dementia, I’ve witnessed how deeply images can connect people to their identity, especially when language begins to fade.
I believe every life deserves to be witnessed and preserved with care. If you have a story you’ve been meaning to gather, organize, or pass down, I’d be honored to help you do that.
